WOLA Member Stickers on Cars and Watercraft
WOLA VEHICLE STICKERS Must be Used to park at WOLA Beach Parking Lot. The Member’s Beach and Boat Launch are accessible to all WOLA members in good standing, those whose dues and any other obligations are paid. Only members’ vehicles may be parked at the Beach Parking Lot. All vehicles parked at the beach must display a WOLA car sticker.
WOLA BOAT STICKERS Must be on boats and watercraft on the lake. Only boats, kayaks, and other watercraft owned by members are allowed on the lake.
Important! Use both stickers and put one on each side of your boat. Stickers are good for two years.

ADDITIONAL RULES: Boats must be removed daily unless they belong to a member who lives on the lake. Boats used after dark must use running lights per state law. Fishing in the marked swimming area is prohibited for safety reasons. Rocks on the dam are there to prevent erosion and should never be removed or thrown into the lake.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?
Motors:
Boats are restricted to propulsion power of 48 volts, max. on our lake. This is an ELECTRIC MOTOR ONLY lake. Boats with gasoline motors attached cannot be launched, even if the motor is not used. All motors rated above 9 HP may not be used because of safety considerations. As technology evolves, even more powerful 48-volt electric engines will be available, but our lake is too small for speeds attainable over 9 HP engine capabilities. There is also a current length limit of 18 feet, from front of boat or pontoon to rear extension of any part of a boat. The WOLA Board reserves the right to refuse usage of any watercraft not abiding by the spirit of these restrictions.
MONITORS:
Volunteers and members observe lake activity and may ask those in violation of the rules to leave. We also contact proper authorities, including law enforcement, when necessary. This protects members and reserves our beautiful resource for members in good standing.
