How can I get involved in the association?

There are a variety of volunteer committee positions and each November officers are elected for the next year. Call a Board Member if you have groups you would like to form or if you would want to serve on an existing committee, or email wolacommunications@gmail.com. (All Board Members and Committee Members serve without pay. Please thank them for their service when you see them.)

How can I support WOLA?

We are new to White Oak Lake. How do we learn about the neighborhood Covenants and Restrictions, Rules, Activities, etc.?

What are the WOLA membership dues, and what are they used for?

When are WOLA dues notices sent out and when are they due?

How can we use the members’ beach area and lake?

Can I reserve the pavilion at the beach?

I hear that I need to place WOLA stickers on my car(s) parked in the beach area and watercraft used in the lake. Why are these necessary and how/where are they available?

Are there any restrictions to boats used on the lake?

Can we bring guests with us on the lake or to fish off the dam?

Is the goose population controlled?

Is the lake water tested for E-coli?

Are residents in the Thornridge subdivision, located beyond the northwest corner of the lake, allowed to use the lake?

Why are we required to have an automatic dusk-to-dawn yard light in the front of our home?

Is the lake weed and algae controlled with our dues? Are the chemicals used safe?

Can I store my boat trailer or other trailers in my driveway or yard?

I noticed my neighbor blowing leaves from his yard into the lake. Is this allowed?

Do we have lifeguards during summer lake hours?
