Each year WOLA residents enjoy a number of activities near or on the 4th of July. They include a boat parade, a beach cookout and time enjoying conversations with neighbors. Members decorate boats for the parade and prizes go to the best entries. No fireworks are planned this year at WOLA, but many area communities are planning shows for the country’s 250th birthday.
