WOLA Members’ Beach Rules
  1. No lifeguards will be present. ALL SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK.
  2. The beach is open from 5:30 am to 9 pm.
  3. No fishing from the beach area. Fishing from the dam and fishing dock is permitted.
  4. Children under 16 are not allowed without adult supervision. (State Law.)
  5. No littering. Use the trash containers.
  6. Cooking may only be done on a grill.
  7. Fires are prohibited.
  8. Pets are not allowed.
  9. Eight guests per member household are allowed on the beach at one time with the presence of a household member who is 16 or older.
  10. Vehicles and boats must have a WOLA registration sticker. Other vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.
  11. Swimming is only allowed in the area marked by the buoys for those 18 and younger. (Some exceptions may be allowed for long-distance training.) Adults may swim beyond the buoys at their own risk and must stay 10 feet away from private property shorelines, unless access is granted by the property owners.
  12. No additional sand or other materials may be deposited on the beach without getting the WOLA board’s permission in advance.
  13. Glass bottles are not allowed.
  14. Things that could fall into the lake such as lawn chairs, food, toys and containers are not allowed on the docks.
